When translated the name of this red states the legend of the moorish fountain in the nearby town of Beja. A forbidden love between a moorish girl and a young christian man where love would never happen.
This wine has aged beautifully for 12 months in French and American Oak Barricas and the complexity, concentration, freshness and balsamic fruit make this a wine you will be head over heels for.
It possesses lots of attractive aromas such as smokey bacon, spices and fresh herbs. An excellent structure and firm tannins make it a full bodied red where aging is showing it its best.
We fell in love with it when tasted it… I hope you do it too!
