This wine gets more attention in the shop than anything else we sell. Most people have come across Châteauneuf-du-Pape reds of course, but not everyone has seen a white before. They are actually very common, but just not as famous as their big brother and the Domaine Chante Cigale Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc is a modern white Chateauneuf from one of the region's best dynamic young producers. This stylish white has exotic apricot aromas, a full-flavoured, weighty palate with flavours of baked apples and white peaches and a rich, powerful finish. If we were you, we'd drink now, but this is a wine you can cellar for up to 5 years and it will get better with age. This is a great wine for a Sunday dinner of roast chicken.
