Suavia is the ancient name for Soave and was used to name this winery as the region is key to everything they do. The black, volcanic soils and hilly aspect of this region make it a very special place, especially for white grape varieties, which is what this winery have chosen to specialise in.
Monte Carbonare is made with garganega (the traditional grape of the region) which has absorbed the nutrients from the volcanic soil to give it a great minerality. It has wonderful citrus notes backed up by aromas of fresh herbs.
This is a wonderfully refreshing wine that can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with seafood.
