Graziano followed his father and grandfather into the wine business, studying oenology, and taking over the family winery in the early 1980s. He bottled his first Soave vintage in 1983. Graziano now also produces red wines from his La Morandina estate in Valpolicella, and his reputation continues to grow. However, for many, his name is still synonymous with Soave - where he is regarded as one of a handful of world class producers who have revitalised the region.

Prà Soave ‘Otto’ wine is an absolutely classic Soave - from one of the region's master producers. Fresh, flowery and subtly peachy nose with elegant honeysuckle and pear aromas. The palate is attractively textured and juicy, showing zesty 'leesy' intensity and a hint of almonds. Richly-flavoured and concentrated with a crisp, incisive and mineral finish. Great with a goat’s cheese, basil and roasted red pepper salad; asparagus or delicate fish sprinkled with lemon juice.

Prà Soave ‘Otto’ 2020: “Nicely balanced and very tasty white with aromas and flavours of lemon, pineapple and peach. Creamy mineral notes and a tinge of herb, too. Medium-bodied with a fresh, relaxed feel and a pleasant, lemon-cream and pineapple finish. Very refined feel. 93pts.” JamesSuckling.com (22nd June ’21)
