The Infiernillo vineyard sits in a sleepy corner of Maule, nestled up to the Andes Mountains. Loosely translated to ‘little hell’, Infiernillo gets its name from the Descabazado volcano which sits in the mountain range above. It's a 60+ year old, 8ha Pinot Noir block which produces fantastic grapes and in this single vineyard wine the aim is to capture to exuberance and freshness which is fostered in this ‘little hell’ site.
El Infiernillo Pinot Noir wine has smoky raspberry and red cherry fruit that lift effortlessly out of the glass. The palate is rich yet delicate, with a supple finish. This is a wine which has plenty of hand-crafted charm. Goose and duck immediately spring to mind… but also great with mushroom based dishes, BBQ meats and foie gras.Country: Chile
