We have had such fantastic results in making Spumante from Grillo grapes in Sicily that we have now made a Purato Grillo Spumante, a great addition to the range. The bubbles are very fine and gentle. The nose is super-fresh, with floral and citrussy notes. Perfectly dry, elegant, well-balanced on the palate, with a refined fruitiness and a refreshing burst of acidity. The ideal aperitif and pairs well with delicately flavoured seafood.
Grillo Spumante is still very unusual, giving consumers something genuinely different to talk about. A versatile, refined fizz to suit all kinds of occasions.
