Château Belleverne's vines grow on siliceous clay on gentle slopes. Whole grapes, sourced from a single domaine, are put through carbonic maceration - the process by which Beaujolais wines are traditionally made.
Château de Belleverne, Beaujolais Villages wine has a very fresh, delicate style. Appealing aromas of crushed strawberries and autumn leaves with herby, savoury layers. This Beaujolais' fresh, herbaceous core is wonderful matched with strongly flavoured savoury dishes such as dried meats, liver & onions and mature hard cheeses.
