Consistently fabulous quality, Borsao and Garnacha just seem to make the perfect pairing based on the awards and accolades that just keep coming! The Borsao Tres Picos Garnacha is deep cherry red in colour with a hint of purple. A bouquet of mature red fruits with floral notes that are typical of the best Garnachas. The palate is rich and well-structured showing flavours of blackberries, strawberries and tones of leather, vanilla and a smoky burnt treacle tang. Perfectly combined with a sweet and pleasant tannin, with a generous and balanced finish. This is a huge wine and we recommend you decant or leave to breathe for a few hours before drinking. Try this with your next Sunday roast beef or next time you have grilled lamb chops.

Please note: All case wine orders can take between 7-10 days for delivery.

Tres Picos Garnacha 2019: “The wine is rich, with a raisined edge, comprising dominant fruit flavours of dark cherry, wild strawberry and ripe plums, combined with notes of vanilla cream followed by a warming alcoholic sensation and then a dry, finely tannic finish. It’s a powerful wine, but not unbalanced, and provides a lot of personality for a relatively small outlay” Patrick Schmitt, The Drinks Business (Global Grenache Masters 2021 – tasted / judged December 2021)

Tres Picos Garnacha 2019: “A rich red in a modern style, with an overtone of toasty smoke and a firm frame of tannins swathed in flavours of blackberry, blueberry and menthol. Fresh, spiced finish. Best from 2023 through 2028.” 90 pts. Alison Napjus, Wine Spectator (31st July ’22)
