An absolute masterpiece of bio-dynamic winemaking, Waterkloof Circumstance Cabernet Franc is what happens when the right grape finds just the right conditions and a masterful winemaker. It's very odd that we don't see more Cabernet Franc produced around the world as whenever we find any, it's always great. This one is particularly good. On the nose this is a classic Cabernet Franc with notes of blackberry, black pepper and thyme. The mouth feel is long, elegant with a memorable finish. This Cabernet Francs' liveliness makes it a excellent wine to pair with many different dishes. A slow roasted lamb shanks rubbed in rosemary would complement the wine very well.
