Bodega Bressia 'Profundo' is a blend of Malbec 50%, Cabernet Sauvignon 30%, Merlot 10% and Syrah 10%. The vineyard is 3,120 feet above sea level. Practices include canopy management, including shoot, leaf and cluster fruit removal. The grapes are manually Fermentation took place between 25-27°C. The wine was then aged in French and American oak barrels for 10 months. Drink now or has the potential to age for over 5 years.
The nose includes intense fruity aromas of dark plum, cherry as well as vanilla and warm oak. An opulent and palate with great concentration, elegance and length with flavours of plum, cherries and luscious blackberries. This is an awesome expression of Bressia's vineyards and talent.
