We’re delighted to announce our latest Meet the Maker on-line wine tasting event. This one will be really special. It’s with one of our favourite vineyards in the world, Charles Smith Wines. Are you ready to rock?!

Head Winemaker, Megan Schofield, will be joining us live from the Charles Smith Vineyard in Washington State, USA. It’s a personal tasting with one of the most talented winemakers in America who in her career has made wines for some of the best-known vineyards in Napa Valley.

Megan is going to introduce us to all six of their incredible wines from one of the most iconic and recognisable vineyards in the world. To say we’re a little excited about this tasting is an understatement.

Everyone is free to watch the tasting event. But let’s face it. It’s not going to be anything like as fun without tasting the wines along with us at home. So in this case you will get a 750ml bottle of each of these wines (6 bottles total):

- Eve Chardonnay
- Kung Fu Girl Riesling
- Band of Roses Rosé
- Velvet Devil Merlot
- Boom Boom Syrah
- Chateau Smith Cabernet Sauvignon

The tasting will be hosted by our very own Rob Jones, with Megan joining us live to answer your questions and to take us through the story of each wine and the current vintages. Throughout the tasting you’ll be able to ask Megan questions using the message functions in Facebook and Youtube.

By purchasing this product, you are purchasing the 6 Bottle Event Case. We also have an individual tasting kit for one person which is available HERE for £20, or a couples tasting kit suitable for two people HERE for £37.99.

Delivery for this case is free for all customer across the whole of the UK.

The tasting is expected to last an hour. To preserve the wine, kits are delivered on the Thursday (16th) and Friday (17th) to minimise their exposure to air. We advise you to put the whites and rose in the fridge and remove 30 minutes to an hour before the broadcast. For the reds, please open these at least 30 minutes before the broadcast to allow them to breathe.

If you are a slower drinker, we advise you prepare 6 wine glasses for the tasting. One for each wine. If you drink at a standard pace, you should have 2 glasses, one for the whites and rose. 1 for the reds.

This is a tasting for people who have a real interest in wine. It will be fun, but informative and held in a conversational style between the two presenters.
