Champagne Lallier are a small family concern crafting Pinot Noir blends from their own (and some specially selected other) 'Grand Cru' vineyards in Aÿ - also home to Bollinger but Lallier's cellars are older, Avize, and Cramant. Classified as 100 out of 100, 'Grand Cru' vineyards are the crème de la crème of vineyard sites. Like Bollinger, Lallier's wines use a high proportion of Pinot Noir in their blends (the Rosé is 100% Pinot Noir), so with Champagne Lallier you get a Pinot Noir dominated blend from Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites - a rarity.

A Lallier Vintage (Millesimé) is not declared every year and Champagne Lallier Grand Cru Vintage Brut 2010 is a champagne of exhilarating freshness made slightly from more Pinot Noir than Chardonnay. Straw yellow with fine delightful bubbles. On the nose the toasty brioche notes are very traditional, in contrast to the slightly savoury and nutty, baked apple flavours which follow through to a crisp, complex and flavoursome finish. Pair with fish and scallops 'a la plancha', or chicken with a creamy or slightly spicy sauce. Also works with fruity desserts.

Please note: All case wine orders can take between 7-10 days for delivery.
