Incredibly vibrant and fresh - Picpoul is the next big thing! L'Ormarine 'Duc de Morny' Picpoul de Pinet, Côteaux du Languedoc is slightly perfumed, ripe melon fruit on the nose. The palate is weighty and ripe but remains fresh and saline. This is the perfect example of the right grapes grown in the right soil and it's probably why it has a list of awards and accolades like no other wine we sell. It's easily the most awarded wine in the shop! Grapes for this wine are grown only a stone's throw from oyster leases in Étang de Thau bay - it is a perfect match for oysters, mussels, and grilled fish. Alternatively, you could just drink on its own...

Please note: All case wine orders can take between 7-10 days for delivery.

Cave de l’Ormarine, Duc de Morny, Picpoul de Pinet 2020: “Lovers of Southern France’s Picpoul de Pinet must surely idolise Cave de l’Ormarine who make this particular example. They are a smart, forward looking co-operative that celebrate their centenary this year and seem to have perfected the production of that delightful, seafood friendly white wine. Rounded yet floral, this one has stylish quince, apple and melon favours partnered by sherbet lemon acidity and saline influenced hints of herbs and thyme.”
