Delicate and fresh with a creamy smooth finish, Holy Grass from Dunnet Bay Distillers is a Vodka that took us by surprise. It's very different to others we've tried before. Found on the banks of Thurso River, Holy Grass gives this Vodka a wonderful, unique taste. Holy Grass (old name hierochloe borealis/ordorata new name Anthoxanthum nitens) was used for basket weaving and was used on church floors to give a sweet, vanilla smell when walked over. You get this coming through in the taste which also contains hints of apple. Definitely the work of the same vapour infusing technique Dunnet Bay Distillers use on their fabulously awesome Rock Rose Gin. Well now we have a fabulously awesome vodka to go with it. Try drinking this straight after taking it out of the freezer. It's a real experience.
