Akashi-Tai Honjozu Tokubetsu Gohyakumangoku Sake is a traditional Japanese Sake. It is made using high quality rice – 100% Gohyakumangoku rice from the Hyogo prefecture Akashi-Tai Honjozu. The local soils are fertile and perfect for rice growing whilst there is a plentiful supply of clean spring water which is essential for the production of quality sake. This sake is lighter in style than other sakes. It is a crisp, dry and east to drink style. The nose has aromas of lime, lemon and hints of straw. The palate is dry with hints of citrus flavours. A smooth and well-balanced sake.
