The monastery at Kloster Eberbach (Rheingau) was established by Cistercian monks from Burgundy in 1136, bringing with them vines, expertise and laying the foundation for Pinot Noir production in Germany. Today the estate, managed by Dieter Greiner covers 200 hectares (150ha Riesling / 30ha Pinot Noir) and as a founding member of the VDP (Germany's finest estates) it’s acclaimed by journalists worldwide.
'Cabinetkeller' Berg Schlossberg Riesling Trocken is a beautifully poised trocken (dry) style of Riesling from Kloster Eberbach's premium 'Cabinetkeller' selection. Complex aromas of citrus, pear, apple, white flower and spice. The palate is weighty and well-balanced with good fruit concentration, more citrus and spice characters and a long, ripe finish. A wine to savour - enjoy with friends!
