A more linear, bony and mineral expression of Malbec from a relatively new appellation in the Uco Valley.

Cadus Chacayes Appellation Malbec is a wine 'of place' that really expresses the hostile growing conditions of the Uco Valley through its character and structure. On the nose this Malbec displays aromas of fresh red fruits and black fruit jam with subtle aromatic herbs. The red and black fruit flavours follow on the palate. This is best described as a linear style Malbec which has an unusual combination of spice and a bony structure. Firm tannins and a prolonged finish add to the attractiveness of this complex and sinewy wine. A hugely appealing and serious Malbec. Great with braised beef and slow cooked lamb casserole.
