The village of Vierlas lies between Rioja, Navarra and Aragon and in this instance provides a great environment for Syrah vines.
Guelbenzu Vierlas wine is aged in a mixture of French and American oak for 6 months giving rise to flavours of black fruit and tapenade – an unusual yet surprisingly appealing combination. The palate is vibrant and juicy with more ripe black fruit balanced by spice, toasty oak and bright acidity. Match with pasta and vegetable risotto, or white meats.Country: Spain
