La Báscula is the name given to the Spanish wine range produced by Ed Adams (MW) and South African winemaker Bruce Jack. The term itself means weighing scales, and represents the balance between indigenous Spanish varieties and modern winemaking.

'Heights of the Charge' evokes the criss-crossing of Rueda by medieval knights on pilgrimmage to Santiago de Compostela. ‘Heights of The Charge’ Verdejo Viura, Rueda has a lemony freshness with hints of rich ripe pineapple, nectarine and fresh apricot. The palate is wonderfully luscious and well integrated, with flavours of lemon marmalade and ripe stone fruit. Rich chicken dishes, creamy pasta dishes, maybe even some manchego!
