Tino and Federica believe in a non-interventionist approach to winemaking, to give each wine a unique expression of site and vintage, and they take sustainability and the environment as seriously as their wines. Aromas of black cherries, chocolate, liquorice and a hint of background meatiness. Very authentic Barbera, very classy, a finely textured palate, with a quiet lingering finish. Refreshingly not too polished, revealing a barely perceptible rustic edge and development, which adds character. This is ethereal Barbera, worthy of contemplation and a number of visits.
