New to De Bortoli's range in 2016, Regional Reserve brings the best regional wines from premium vineyards across Victoria. The result is wines of character and expression, a true reflection of the variety and the region.
Fruit was sourced from a selection of premium vineyards from Dixons Creek, Yarra Glen and Tarrawarra.
Fruit is gently pressed and allowed to settle overnight. Turbid juice is then racked to both French oak casks and stainless tanks. Lees are stirred in late autumn and then left to rest until the finishing stages before blending and bottling.
Light straw with a green edge. Bright complex Chardonnay citrus florals, nutty oak, minerally and fine. Gently textured palate, savoury, chalky phenolics, hints of nuts, great balance of variety and region.
