La Báscula is the name given to the Spanish wine range produced by Ed Adams (MW) and South African winemaker Bruce Jack. The term itself means weighing scales, and represents the balance between indigenous Spanish varieties and modern winemaking.

‘The Charge’ Tempranillo Garnacha, Rioja wine has been crafted from four different vineyard blocks. The wine was aged for an average of 9 months in a variety of French and American oak barrels. This wine has aromas of berries and warm spice with a touch of coffee and dark chocolate. The palate is generous with beautifully complex dark and spicy fruit and good acidity. All balanced by mocha and toasty notes from oak maturation. Great with barbecued meats, steaks and stews
