Indigenous varieties Fernao Pires and Arinto make upi this 50:50 blend.
The gently sloping vineyards have a southern exposure and clay-limestone soils. Canopy management is used to optimise the aromatic character of the grapes. After a careful selection of the grape bunches, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in concrete, with battonage.
Peach and apricot aromas with citrus and floral notes. The palate has abundant stone fruit flavours, and a crisp and juicy saline tang balancing the a lightly creamy texture.
This is an aromatic white, so will match well with prawns with garlic and lemon, or a hint of peri-peri.
