Winerie Parisienne, the first wine producer and professional vineyard in Paris modern history has been a hit in the French Capital with its creative blends and striking identity. The current line-up from Winerie Parisienne include wines that have been made in Paris by sourcing grapes from top vineyards across France, all harvested by hand. It has also planted the first professional vineyard for 100 years (25 acres) in the Paris region (near Chateau de Versailles), under supervision of J. Brustis, a former oenologist at Chateau Angélus.

The Merlot plots are located on the Right Bank of the Gironde in Bordeaux. On a bedrock of limestone with layers of clay and gravel deposits. Our 20-25 year old vines produce concentrated fruit. The clay and gravel allow for the right balance of water stress and sustenance during ripening. The Syrah is planted on the banks of the Rhone, on sandstone and limestone soils. The moderate yields of the old vines (25-30 years old) give a lot of balance and an elegant concentration to the grapes. Harvested in late September in the morning. Pre-fermentation soaking at low temperatures (6-8 °C) for 48-72h before fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Daily pigeage during the first days of the fermenation. Gentle extraction was done mid-fermentation with further maceration of nearly 3 weeks. tasting was done throughout the fermentation and adjustments were made accordingly. Fermentation was done at a maximum of 26-27 ° C. Aged for 10-12 months on lees. Both wines underwent malolactic fermentation. Use of open top barrels for both Merlot and Syrah vinifications.

Hand crafted wines focused on valuing the diversity and richness of French terroir and vineyards. Winerie Parisienne has carefully selected two distinct varieties that are known for their richness in quality and aromas. The Grisant Red is a perfect example of freshness, power and elegance that can be achieved through blending two star varieties. Balance between fresh fruit and spicy notes, this wine is versatile in all aspects. With generous aromas of red fruit, dark fruit, pepper and graphite the combination of a complex nose, medium bodied palate and perfectly ripe tannins demonstrate a wine dened by pleasure.
