Winerie Parisienne, the first wine producer and professional vineyard in Paris modern history has been a hit in the French Capital with its creative blends and striking identity. The current line-up from Winerie Parisienne include wines that have been made in Paris by sourcing grapes from top vineyards across France, all harvested by hand. It has also planted the first professional vineyard for 100 years (25 acres) in the Paris region (near Chateau de Versailles), under supervision of J. Brustis, a former oenologist at Chateau Angélus.

The selection of Sauvignon Blanc grapes come from vineyards on argilo-calcaires soils situated on the slopes of the river Cher in the Loire Valley.  With careful attention paid to the way the vines are grown, the grapes are able to reach full maturity.  The vines are aged between 15-20 years and have deep roots that allow the nutrients to be drawn from the calcaire layer of soil beneath the top layer of clay.

The plots of Vermentino are situated on rocky clay soil sites in Provence.  Particular attention is paid to the optimum maturity of the grapes to ensure there is a good balance between ripe flavours, acidity and sweetness levels. Harvesting takes place at night or in the early morning to limit the effects of oxidation and to retain the fresh fruit aromas. The wine spends 3-4 months on it's fine lees with stirring two times a week.

The Grisant White ties the exotic notes and excellent body coming from white varieties from the south of France with the freshness and acidity of grape varieties that are usually appreciated in cooler regions such as Bordeaux and Loire. This bottle is a stellar example of what can be achieved through using diversity in wine making. Both depth and freshness on the palate. The Grisant White is an excellent blend and expression of a unique wine from Paris. This wine’s body and elegance is coupled with delicate mineral, fresh fruit and floral aromas that can be expressed through its diverse composition.
