Susana Balbo's career in wine began in 1981 when she graduated with a degree in oenology from Don Bosco University, effectively becoming the first female winemaker in Argentina. She made her first wine in 1983 and since then hasn't stopped!

Zohar Malbec wine is a textbook mid-price Malbec from this great winemaker who knows how to get the very best from Argentina's crown jewel varietal. Plenty of up-front, open-ended, warm and generous fruit on the nose with just a subtle whiff of oak; full-bodied on the palate and, crucially, filled with the freshness and structure for which the Uco Valley is prized. Match this lovely wine with a good steak and hot game pies.
