Barrancôa Red is a gorgeous, succulent warm red from Alentejo in Southern Portugal. Multi-award and gold medal winning, Barrancoa is probably our favourite Portuguese red wine in the shop. Paulo Laureano (Portuguese oenologist of the year) has created an elegant and well structured wine with a long persistent finish on the palate. The nose is full of dark ripe berries with spices and toasty flavours and it is beautifully presented in this attractive bottle. This is a red that is a perfect match for game birds such as partridge recipes, pork medallions or other roast meats and vegetables.
