We’re not going to pretend we know everything about wine, so don’t expect stuffy dialogues about vintages and providence. What we will do is find you the best wines we can at the best prices we can offer. Why, because just like you, we’re on a journey of wine discovery and when we do find something worth shouting about, we’ll bring it to you via our website or store.
We’re not here to revolutionise and we certainly won’t ever patronise, we’re just here to spread the word of great wine.

The People Behind Kwoff

We’re not a faceless organisation, just a clever brand, or a marketing trick by venture capitalists. Kwoff is a family owned, funded and run business that started out with one mission. To bring enthusiasm and enjoyment to our customers.
David Jones started Kwoff with help from his father, Peter and brother Rob. It was an idea born from a family trip to Tuscany for Peter’s 60th birthday. We all love wine, who doesn’t, but when sat in a restaurant on the Tuscany-Umbria border, hanging on the every word of a warm, passionate owner who’s only mission right there at that moment in time was to ensure we got a phenomenal wine to go with our meal, we just realised the way it was sold in Britain was often so elitist and stuffy. And when it wasn’t, you had to contend with the pile it high and sell it cheap chain stores, supermarkets and mail order companies with little real focus on quality. There seemed to be no middle ground. Why?
And so it was David started to form the idea of a business that would become that middle ground. At each family occasion we would explore the idea a little more until we reached a point where it had to happen!
And now, Kwoff has launched. It took 12 months of planning, fundraising and execution, but we’re here. Now we need to convince you we’re worth buying from. So this is our promise, we’ll never take your custom for granted. We’ll do everything we can to give you the best shopping experience possible and reward you for your repeat custom through loyalty schemes and discounts.
