Pure, concentrated Gamay from the northern reaches of Beaujolais
Gamay from the northern terroir of Beaujolais, within the wider regional area of Burgundy. In the early 1900s the area was mined for manganese and it is the remnants of this blue-veined mineral in the sub strata that provides the special underlying tonality to this wine.
Projet Par GENETIE Gamay du Nord is a concentrated, bright berry fruit with freshness, minerality and gentle tannins in perfect harmony.
A versatile wine that can take you from a starter of paté on toast or charcuterie or warm goats cheese salad through to roast pork or roasted vegetables and then on to the cheese plate.
