This wine is amazing! If you love Alsace Gewürztraminer then look no further than the Turckheim Gewurztraminer Vieilles Vignes, it's a serial award winner and the ONLY wine to have with chicken and chilli heavy Thai food. It's the taste of paradise! Turckheim Gewürztraminer is rich and generous, like crystallised lemon marmalade, overflowing with aromas of hyacinth, rose, lychees, the best Harrods honey and toffee. The palate is clean, lifted by hints of lime and a minerally character. It's fantastically scrumptious on it's own but where it really comes alive is with Thai food, especially anything with heat. It's wonderful and one of the most popular French white wines in the shop. It also holds the illustrious honour of being the first bottle of wine we sold in the shop to someone we didn't know!
