Established in 1979, Paxton is a family owned wine company that are leaders in both organic and biodynamic viticulture and winemaking. Fruit for all wines are sourced solely from estate vineyards in McLaren Vale, South Australia.
Thomas Block is located at the bottom of one of the coolest sites in the McLaren Vale Region. The site is flat ground and bordered by ancient River Red Gums.
When primary fermentation was complete, the juice was pressed to stainless steel tanks for malolactic fermentation and brief ageing before bottling nice and early to preserve as much freshness as possible.
The Pollinator Organic Shiraz wine is a vibrant and fresh unoaked lively Shiraz. Plum and red berry fruit aromas entice on the nose and the palate delivers a vibrant mouthfeel, balanced with integrated tannins on the finish. All natural, all organic and no added preservatives.
