Els Vil Lusionistes Equanim Blanc Brisat DO Priorat [Organic] (6 Bottle Case)

We’re in Priorat, except we’re not really, we’re in the minds of the wonderfully talented pair of Anna Molina and Sergi Siuraneta.

30% Macabeu and 70% Garnacha Blanco, a small portion of the grapes are left in an open amphora to start a spontaneous ferment before these grapes are then used to start the fermentation process in the other parcels. Els Vil Lusionistes Equanim Blanc Brisat DO Priorat's skin-contact period lasts around 9 days after which pressing takes place and the must is transferred to stainless steel before blending.

As you might expect, there is an awful lot going on here but there is a deft touch on display with lychee notes that nicely complement the unctuous quality of the wine. Pairs perfectly with grilled octopus.
