This large premier cru site (37ha) is primarily devoted to Pinot Noir. It has many different micro terroirs and this cuvee is taken from 4 different parcels. Whole bunches are added into the ferment and 15% is fermented in new oak for 15 months.
Chanzy Maranges Premier Cru La Fussiere wine is a beautiful dark red colour, with purple reflections. packed with ripe wild raspberry and damson fruit. Medium bodied and fragrant with a supple, appealing texture. It is a wine with finesse and a very long finish. This is one of the stand-out reds from Chanzy owing to its balance and fine tannins. Seriously good with Poultry and red meats, spring rolls, grilled ribs and braised pork.
