A prestige cuvee, and always a vintage Champagne, grapes for each bottle are sourced from Grand Cru vineyards across the region - although each blend will hold a small portion of Premier Cru fruit, from the historical plot in the Abbey of Hautvillers, where Dom Perignon worked. Blended from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, each bottle is aged on lees for a minimum of seven years, although many will remain in bottle for much longer. The final wines are complex, yet remarkably light, with a vivacious energy and genuine, authentic power.

Dom Perignon 2013 Vintage Champagne's delicate nose unfolds in swaths of color. The green of eucalyptus, mint and vetiver, the yellow-orange of mirabelle plums, apricot and orange blossom, the brown of pepper, cardamom and licorice sticks, and finally silvery saline and toasty hues. The mouthfeel is elegant, expressing luxuriant simplicity and precision. The refined and silky foundation becomes more pronounced at the heart. The finish is dominated by a salinity that leaves a deep sensation of consistency.
