Domaine Berthelemot Pommard Village Rouge [Organic] (6 Bottle Case)

Domaine Berthelemot Pommard Village Rouge wine is made with 40% whole bunch ferment from vines in both the Noizons and Petit Noizons plots planted between 1924 and 1997. The soil is reddish brown limestone with some ferrous oxide which provides rich, aromatic wines that age well. The term "Noizons" refers to an an area originally planted with walnut trees. This wine is dark and muscular with spicy berry fruit, a good tannic structure and nicely balanced. Pair with mushroom stroganoff or a grilled rare-breed pork chop.
