Percheron Shiraz Mourvèdre is a hugely successful southern Rhone style red from Swartland that just can't stop picking up awards! This Shiraz Mourvedre has a wonderfully lifted perfumed nose with bright fleshy raspberry and crushed blackcurrant fruit and a touch of savoury gaminess and fresh almond smoothness on the finish. There is also a definite smokiness on the back palate. It's a great partner to rich and savoury red meat dishes such as salt-marsh lamb, or a gutsy bean casserole.
