When fruit is this good, so pure and fresh, so expressive and direct, why hinder it with oak, especially cheap, quick fix oak? Atamisque is one of a growing number of wineries that prefers to use oak only for upper-level wines, opting for the ‘pure fruit’ ethos here. This, however, is not a lesser wine in any respect, as can be seen from its popularity.
Serbal Malbec wine is an intense red colour with violet reflections. On the nose, violet notes and crunchy red fruits. Lovely soft tannins and a silky finish.
