A deep, dark and powerful organic primitivo, this is a serious wine for its price and has plenty to taste on the palate. Full body and oak influences combine to make a great rich and fruity wine. It's outstanding. Intense ruby-red color, with a complex bouquet, reminiscent of cherries, dried berries and toasted almonds. In the mouth it is full-bodied yet smooth and elegant with a silky texture. The finish is long and lingering, with a burst of spiced cherries and bright fruit and earthiness at the end. It is made by Orion Wines, a company created to bring together interesting wines from small growers and wineries from all over Italy. Well they've done those wineries proud with this offering! We're huge fans here at Kwoff. And if ever there was a wine to pair with a spicy Italian sausage and tomato pasta, this has to be it!
