Tucked away in the southern countryside of Barbados, on 8 acres of a former sugar plantation, is the magnificent Foursquare Rum Distillery and Heritage Park. Foursquare is the name of the oldest sugar plantation (1636). This working rum factory is well known for its collection of rums, producing a wide range. Foursquare Rum Distillery is the proud winner of the Rum Distillery of the Year in November 2016 at the IWSC.
Foursquare Spiced Rum is a combination or rare island spice and specially aged rum blended in accordance with a centuries old secret formula known only to generations of the Seale family. There is an immediate fragrance of star anise, vanilla, cloves and cinnamon, with some orange following along. On the palate fresh anise comes through prominently, developing into a complex array of sweet Caribbean spices with great balance between the spices and herbs; finishes with a slight ginger kick. Perfect for a spiced Mojito we think!
