Glenallachie 10 Year Old Wine Series Grattamacco

This Scotch whisky undergoes a unique maturation process, initially aging in bourbon barrels and subsequently acquiring its distinctive character from a finishing period in Grattamacco wine barriques. These casks were carefully sourced by GlenAllachie from the esteemed Bolgheri region in Tuscany, imparting delightful red wine nuances of luscious blackcurrant and gentle tannins to this single malt. As part of The GlenAllachie Wine Series, each cask was thoughtfully chosen by master distiller Billy Walker and bottled at a bold 48% ABV.
