We’re in Priorat, except we’re not really, we’re in the minds of the wonderfully talented pair of Anna Molina and Sergi Siuraneta.

Els Vil Lusionistes Equanim DO Priorat is 60% Carignan, 40% Grenache from the most mature parcels with the vines averaging 60 years of age. Fermented and matured in amphor.

This represents a big step up in black pepper spice and grip – always a surprise in a wine that’s never seen a barrel – there is no question that this is a little young at the moment but absolutely worth squirrelling a few bottles away for a couple of years.
