Vallegre Reserva Especial Branco wine is produced from very old vineyards planted on old platforms with north and south exposure and at different altitudes. After careful selection of the grapes a pre-fermentation skin maceration was carried out followed by a light pressing of the grapes. The must underwent decanting followed by fermentation in new French oak barrels. The wine aged for a period of 12 months in the same barrels.
Straw yellow with greenish reflections. The aroma is intense. Mineral notes combined with some fruit and the elegance of wood notes giving it an unusual complexity. The finish is long and complex
Best served with fatty fish, cod in its various forms, stews, as well as oriental cuisine. To be consumed within the next 7 years.
