Cantine Gulino is the passion project of Doctor Gulino who decided to renovate his family's historic winery when he inherited the land in the Siracusa region of Sicily. With a love of history, he put his efforts into recognising native varieties and their ancient links to the land.
Cantine Gulino Jaraya wine is made using 'passito' Moscato di Siracusa grapes. This is an intensely luscious dessert wine. Harvested at full ripeness, the grapes are then allowed to dry to concentrate the sugars and aromas of apricot, peach, orange peel and blossom. The honeyed aromas are intensified by the sweetness which is balanced by a good level of acidity. Enjoy with fruit desserts and ripe cheeses.
