Chateau de Coulaine Sinople Chinon Blanc is rare, unusual and really exciting quality. Vines have an average age of 30 years, planted on clay soils over limestone bedrock.
Wild yeasts, aged on lees for 12 months, aged in mostly old oak with just one or two new barrels thrown into the mix.
A definite nod to Burgundy in shape and texture, clever use of old oak means that the brightness is beautifully balanced with a seam of richness.
