This Distillery sits alongside the Galloway Forest Park, Britain’s largest forest park which, in 2009, became the 1st Dark Sky Park in the UK and western Europe. At the time, only the 4th Dark Sky Park in the world. Once the sun sets on 300 square miles of breath-taking rugged wilderness that is the Galloway Forest Park, the magic of the night time appears with an inky-blue sky garden studded with flickering and sparkling stars.
Dark Art Vespero Blanco is Scotland's first 100% agave spirit drawing inspiration from the craft of tequila distilling. Recognising the historical and craft significance of tequila, which must be distilled in Mexico, Véspero shares similarities in its composition and premium distillation process. Produced in small batches and double distilled from 100% Blue Weber Agave, resulting in a vibrant spirit with sweet grassy and toffee notes, finishing with a smooth and warming peppery touch.
In essence, Véspero is a Scottish tribute to Mexico’s native spirit.
