Domaine Berthelemot St Aubin 1er Cru Dents de Chien (6 Bottle Case)

Domaine Berthelemot St Aubin 1er Cru Dents de Chien is a hand harvested Chardonnay from vines planted in 1990. The parcel is just over a third of a hectare with limestone soil and marl peppered with sharp stones, the 'dents de chien'. Fermented in oak barrels, 25% new, the malo follows naturally in the spring and the wine stays on its lees until bottling in June. The 2018 vintage gave ideal growing conditions, with a cold winter followed by warm spring with just enough rain, leading into a hot and dry summer.
