Domaine de la Motte Chablis wine is a classic Chablis from vines grown on the famous Kimmeridgian clay. Nervy, mineral fruit with added depth from a small, around 10%, addition of oak-aged wine into the blend. This is very typical of the Motte style and gives a richness and balance to the wine.
Domaine de la Motte Chablis has restrained citrus and of touch of stone fruit with a chalky quality on the nose. Very balanced throughout, the palate is clear and linear with pleasing citrus underpinned by a fine minerality. A classic, reliable expression of Chablis. Enjoy with chicken with a creamy sauce, Thai dishes, or fish with salad greens.
