Domaine Desire Petit, Trousseau Rouge 'Les Grandes Gardes' Arbois (6 Bottle Case)
This product is currently sold out.
The region of Jura in eastern France is fast becoming one of the country’s most exciting winemaking areas. It’s here in the commune of Grozon that Domaine Désiré Petit was established in 1932 by Désiré Petit, who planted just under 1.5 hectares on the Côte de Feule. Since then the vineyard area has increased significantly to 27 hectares and the Domaine is run by the third generation of the Petit family, Damien and Anne-Laure. As well as making outstanding examples of the local Vin Jaune from the Savagnin grape, the Domaine also makes a rich and floral Crémant du Jura.
Domaine Désiré Petit, Trousseau Rouge 'Les Grandes Gardes' Arbois is a full-bodied wine with an intense red colour. This wine frames the varietal character of Trousseau beautifully with soft, honeyed fruit wrapped around a bright red cherry core. Serve with roasted partridge with celeriac.
