Domaine J.Laurens, Cremant de Limoux 'La Rose No.7' (6 Bottle Case)
This product is currently sold out.
J.Laurens produce both Mauzac-dominated Blanquette de Limoux and Chardonnay-based Crémant de Limoux from their 30ha of organically-farmed vineyards slightly south-west of Carcassone. The domaine was established by a champenois in the 80s and is today owned by Jacques Calvel, who surrounded by an expert local team, has built the domaine's current reputation for outstanding sparkling wines.
Since 2003 Pinot Noir has been permitted in a Crémant de Limoux blend, leading to J.Laurens making their first NV rose in 2007.
Domaine J.Laurens, Crémant de Limoux 'La Rose No.7' is a beautifully balanced wine showing delicate soft stone fruit aromas, nuances of caramel and cream with a nice biscuity finish. Don't let the baby pink fool you – La Rose No7 is a seriously good sparkling rosé! A versatile wine suited to most light foods, especially canapés and starters.
