The Dominique Gallois estate is an establishment recognised for the quality of its wines from the Burgundy region. The vineyard is located in the Côte de Nuits, one of the most prestigious regions of Burgundy. Ideally exposed, it benefits from a clay-limestone terroir conducive to the maturation of Pinot Noir. The entire vineyard is cultivated according to environmentally friendly practices to preserve biodiversity.
Gevrey Chambertin Vielles Vignes Domaine Gallois wine is deep red in colour. On the nose, it offers aromas of red fruits and spices, with a touch of undergrowth. On the palate, it reveals a beautiful structure with silky tannins and a long finish. This wine is ideal to be enjoyed now or after a few years of ageing. The 2022 vintage was marked by a favourable climate, allowing optimal development of aromas. The harvest has been carefully selected to guarantee the purity and concentration of the wine. This vintage is known for its finesse and complexity.
The vinification is done in traditional vats with controlled fermentation. Ageing lasts about 12 to 18 months in oak barrels, some of which are new to bring structure and complexity. Bottling is done without filtration to preserve the aromatic richness.
This elegant Pinot Noir goes perfectly with grilled red meats, game or dishes in sauce such as beef bourguignon.
